FAQs

How long do photography projects take?

Most projects are delivered a week or two after the shooting date or from when we receive your products and payment. If your project involves a large number of photos, this may add to the production time. If a quicker turnaround is needed, rush service may also be available.

What if I would like an image to be reshot?

To qualify for reshoots, you must provide clear direction. We will need some examples of what you have in mind. It can be pictures taken with your cell phone or images from the web. Re-shoots for artistic or editorial reasons or resulting from client error or omission will be quoted at the time of the change request. For "On Location" services, reshoots are not available. We count on your in-person direction for these services.

I don’t have time to provide direction, can you decide for me?

We can gladly help you with your product's positioning and styling based on our previous experience with other clients. But If you waive your right to direction, you also waive your right to reshoots.

Do you also style food?

Once the plate is in front of our camera, we only make minor adjustments, like brushing olive oil or spraying water to make the food look fresh. We usually shoot food on location, respecting your chef’s plating. If you require the services of a professional food stylist, we can include that in your quote.

I have a very large product. Can you shoot it?

We only shoot tabletop photography in our studio, but we can come to you if you have a larger space where your product is on display! Oversized products are subject to an additional charge.

Do you also shoot with models?

We only shoot with hand models in our studio for an extra charge. Our services are designed to be quick and affordable, and bringing models into the shoot also brings many expenses that can easily double or triple your quote. We’ve assisted fashion photographers with product photography and have no problem integrating our services with an extensive production team.

Can you ship my products back when you’re done?

Of course! Just give us your address, and we’ll include the pick-up and return service in your quote. Alternatively, you can provide your UPS or FedEx account number if you have one, or we can donate your products to a local charity or discard them if you don’t want them back. We do not provide storage services.

In what format are my photos delivered?

E-Commerce photos are delivered in a high resolution, 300 dpi JPEG. If you need specific dimensions or know the exact final destination (Instagram or Shopify square format, for example), add a note for us when ordering. We will shoot or resize the images according to your specifications. Full-resolution photos (Hero shots, Lifestyle, editorial, etc.) are up to 9504 x 6336px before cropping. Final print sizes are up to 63 x 42 inches at 150 dpi, and you can pick from JPEG or TIFF file formats. Background removal or transparencies are delivered in PNG files.

How do you deliver my finished photos?

We will send a link to an online gallery or a wetransfer link. If you miss the period for downloading, let us know, and we will send them again. We do not deliver prints of any kind.

What kind of license comes with the images?

Upon final delivery, the photographs become licensed to you for use on a royalty-free basis. This means you are free to use the photographs in your publications as often as you like, with as wide a distribution as you want, without ever having to pay us royalties. We allow the use of these photos in most publications, including print advertising, packaging & web. Our images are not designed for large prints above 63 in; additional post-processing may be required. We retain the copyrights for delivered photos, and the photographs may not be re-sold to any third party without prior written permission.
