The Photo Pot is a small business based in Los Angeles, CA, specializing in photography for products, food, interiors, and portraits. Our founders, Sofía Felguérez and Alejandro Monfort, are two photographers passionate about still-life photography. Sofía studied at EAF, one of the leading commercial photography schools in Latin America, where she worked as a digital photography teacher for many years. In 2008, she furthered her studies at the International Center of Photography in NYC, gaining skills in architecture, interior, and fashion photography. For over a decade, her work has appeared in several international magazines, including Life & Style, Elle, Eve, Stuff, Harper’s Bazaar, and Esquire. In 2011, she teamed up with photography producer and editor Alejandro Monfort, specializing further in food photography. Alex brings experience in producing social media content and is a certified Adobe Retouching professional with several firms. His expertise complements Sofía’s photography with essential business tools. Together, they’ve worked across borders in Mexico City, Miami, and Los Angeles, providing services for companies such as Sears, Pepsi, Taste of Home, Blissy, Diamond Art Club, Movita Juice Bar, Munchkin Inc., Tous les Jours, Skin Gym, Paint Lab, Smart Bamboo, DoorDash, The Walking Company, Abeo, Farfetch, and Bandolier. Sofía and Alex combine their passion and experience to deliver high-quality images that best represent you and your business!
